Polyurethane

Standard epoxy can yellow and dull under constant sunlight, but polyurethane doesn't. We use it as a protective topcoat wherever a floor needs long-term UV stability on top of everyday abrasion resistance.

Polyurethane by LM Epoxy Flooring

Polyurethane cures into a harder, more scratch-resistant surface than epoxy alone and holds its colour and gloss far longer under sun exposure, which matters for loading docks, sunlit retail floors, and spaces with large windows or skylights.

It's typically applied as the final topcoat over a flake, metallic, or solid-colour epoxy base, combining the decorative system underneath with a tougher, longer-lasting wear layer on top.

Ideal For

  • Sunlit retail floors
  • Loading docks
  • High-traffic commercial spaces

Why This System

  • UV-stable, won't yellow under sunlight
  • Scratch- and abrasion-resistant topcoat
  • Holds colour and gloss long-term
